Find Meaning and Joy in Life Again

Sometimes life feels overwhelming. You might be stuck in the past, constantly analyzing every decision, or worrying about the future. Perhaps you're struggling with difficult feelings, challenging relationships, or patterns that keep repeating. Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone.

I provide a safe, accepting space where you can share your struggles without judgment. Through our work together, you'll gain practical tools, fresh perspectives, and deeper self-awareness to help you move toward the life you desire.

Explore Healing Opportunities

  • Do you feel paralyzed by a billion thoughts running through your mind? Maybe you worry so much about making the right decision that you only focus on what could go wrong. All those negative thoughts might leave you feeling like something is wrong with you, or scared that you won't be able to manage your day-to-day responsibilities.

    Anxiety therapy can help you:

    • Stop worrying all the time and control how you respond to anxious thoughts

    • Figure out who you are and what direction to go in next

    • Create a more meaningful life based on who you are and what you desire

    • Start focusing on what could go right instead of what could go wrong

Through 50-minute one-on-one sessions, we'll work together to help you manage difficult emotions and challenging life situations. You'll discover practical tools to take care of yourself and, when needed, we'll address the root issues keeping you stuck.

  • Does your response to life situations feel bigger than it should be? Maybe you find yourself doing anything you can to avoid feeling out of control, or you've noticed yourself withdrawing from people and activities you once enjoyed. Your inner critic might feel relentless, making it hard to find anything positive.

Trauma and EMDR therapy can help you:

    • Have more control in how you respond to life's challenges

    • Find freedom in making sense of difficult feelings

    • Improve your relationship with yourself and others

    • Get to the root problems instead of using band-aids

In addition to traditional trauma therapy, I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a specialized approach. Many clients find EMDR remarkably effective at addressing emotional blocks and enabling swifter progress. The technique is designed to help you process emotions fully without requiring extensive reliving of traumatic events. We begin with resourcing to equip you with skills to manage distressing feelings, and you remain in control throughout the entire process.

I also offer EMDR intensive sessions for recent trauma (within the past three months) or for addressing negative beliefs that interfere with daily life. These extended sessions provide uninterrupted time to process trauma effectively, often resolving it in just 3-4 sessions.

  • Have you noticed that your use has crept into different parts of your life? Maybe you're curious about what life would be like if you focused on things that truly matter instead of drinking so much. Perhaps you're doing a lot of good things in life but worry about whether you'll overdo it, or you've started turning to drinking for no reason at all.

Substance misuse and sober curious therapy can help you:

    • Figure out what you really need to feel better

    • Stop turning to substances that are hurting you

    • Have the loving connections you've always wanted

    • Stop worrying about overdoing it or having drinking be the focus of your life

You don't have to wait for a rock bottom moment to get the care you deserve. Through 60-minute sessions, we'll explore your relationship with alcohol or other substances and uncover the underlying needs beneath your use. Together, we'll discover healthier ways to meet those needs and navigate life's challenges with greater ease.

  • Are you questioning or wanting to explore your identity but don't know where to start? Maybe you want to explore an aspect of your identity but feel scared about being judged. Perhaps you're trying to stay connected to your biological family but find it hard to share authentically about your life, or you feel anxious about deciding to have a family because you can only think about the challenges.

    LGBTQ therapy can help you:

    • Figure out who you are and what you want

    • Create healthy relationships and stop feeling rejected

    • Feel proud and confident in who you are

    • Address the challenges that come up as a queer parent

Getting help is a sign of strength, whether or not your challenges are related to your identity. In 50-minute sessions, I provide a safe space where you can explore all of who you are. You'll gain practical skills you can use immediately, along with insights that lead to increased self-awareness. With fresh perspective and support, you can find the new energy to be fully engaged in life again.

  • Do you feel like others just don't get you, or you can't get through to your partner? Maybe you're not sure why what you're saying or doing just isn't working. You really want connection but keep finding reasons why you won't be able to meet new friends or date. Perhaps you're constantly worrying if someone will leave, or trying to share your feelings only to have it turn into conflict.

    Relationship therapy can help you:

    • Have the courage to ask for what you need without fear of someone leaving

    • Communicate clearly to those you love

    • Improve your relationship with yourself and others

    • Feel good enough about yourself and have the loving relationships you've always wanted

Through 50-minute individual sessions, we'll explore your communication patterns within relationships—examining what's working, what isn't, and most importantly, why you communicate the way you do. We'll uncover the root causes of your challenges and identify practical solutions, whether that involves improving communication skills, establishing healthy boundaries, or continuing your journey of healing and self-discovery.
